Space Jam is off to a great start this year, with their next meeting scheduled for Wednesday, October 17 during lunch in Room 130. The club will also be attending the next 60 Minutes in Space presentation on Halloween at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science – costumes are welcome! Outdoor Adventure Club had a great first excursion of the year! Join in time for the next hike and enjoy the great outdoors with your peers, faculty sponsors, and the club mascot, Maple the dog. The GW Success Center team is seeking volunteers to help with Senior Boot Camp on Wednesday, October 10. You will meet Ali Foster in the North Lobby at 7:15am. She will escort you to the Gym, where you will check in seniors from 7:30am until 9:00am. P3 t-shirts, coffee, and bagels will be provided! If you’re interested, please sign up HERE.

Check in begins at 8:00am. Please be on time. Attendance is required, and failure to attend will negatively impact your required attendance rate for participating in the graduation ceremony.
There are currently eighteen students at GW who officially have credentials and/or self-identify as Native American. In solidarity with our Native students, we invite everyone to wear red in celebration of Indigenous Peoples’ Day this Monday, October 8. We want a holiday that truly represents everything that America stands for – the freedom to express ideas, communities coming together in unity, and our students taking pride in who they are.

Parent Teacher Conferences will occur Thursday, October 18, 3:30pm – 7:30pm in the Gym and Thursday, October 25 in teacher classrooms by appointment. Parents and Students are encouraged to attend to discuss current progress in classes.
