Snacks, childcare, and interpretation services will be provided. If you’d like to attend, please RSVP HERE.
On Wednesday, October 10, GW freshmen, sophomores, and juniors will take exams alongside the rest of their grades. Freshmen and sophomores will take a practice version of the PSAT. Juniors will take the PSAT/NMSQT, which will fulfill one of the entry requirements into the National Merit Scholarship Program, and provide access to other scholarships and college search services.
George will have a shortened “testing day” schedule on October 10. Students must be assembled outside their assigned testing rooms at 7:30am. Students will be dismissed at 11:35am, with grab-and-go bag lunches provided in the cafeteria. If you have a student who receives extended time on the College Board exams, you and your student will be provided with a later dismissal time.
In order to be prepared for testing, all students should bring:
- A valid GWHS student (or government-issued) identification.
- A graphing or scientific calculator, if available. We will supply a calculator if your student does not have one.
You can support your student by:
- Ensuring their prompt arrival.
- Helping them get adequate rest the night before.
- Reminding them of the importance of breakfast prior to the test day.
Please stay tuned for information regarding plans for seniors on October 10.
