    The ByeBye Bully Club’s Speaker Series continues this week with a must-see presentation by the Anti-Defamation League on its school program, No Place For Hate. It will be held this Thursday, February 15, during lunch in the GW Library. All students, faculty, and staff are invited to attend. Free pizza will be served!

  • GWHS Engraved Pavers Now Available

    Announcing a wonderful way to honor your GW student, and other loved ones! Leave a lasting dedication on the GW Campus. Pavers are located at the north entrance of the school. To see the different paver options we’re offering this year, please click HERE.

    When you purchase a paver, make a donation, or dedicate a tree, 100% of your contributions benefit the GWHS grounds through the GW Grounds Committee. Donations may be tax-deductible; make sure to check with your tax advisor. Visit the GW Grounds Committee website for additional information, and to order your pavers!   • Get Help with Institutional Scholarships at the Future Center

    Seniors – if you plan to attend college, you should be working on applying for institutional scholarships. These are scholarships offered by your colleges to incoming students. You can visit the Future Center for assistance at any time, but on Thursday, February 15, the Future Center will have extra volunteers present to help students complete institutional scholarship applications. Make sure to stop by!

    During February and March of 2018, Waterway Carwash is offering free weekend car washes for GW students! Bring your student ID with you to Waterway (3875 Cherry Creek N Drive) on a Saturday or Sunday, show it to the cashiers, and enjoy a free wash.

  • Parent Teacher Conferences

    Parent/Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Thursday, February 22, 2018, from 3:30pm to 7:30pm in the Lunchroom. Parents and guardians are welcome to stop by at any time during those hours to speak with teachers regarding the progress of their students. Please remember, these conversations are just snapshots of your students’ progress, and should only last 10 minutes per teacher. If you need more time with a teacher, please reach out to them to schedule an appointment for a conference on another day.

  • Reminder – Birthday Bash Tickets On Sale Now

    Tickets for the Birthday Bash Dance occurring on Saturday, February 10, 7:00pm – 10:00pm, are now on sale. Tickets are $10 for singles and $15 for couples, and can be purchased at the Treasurer’s Office. The purpose of a school dance is to promote spirit and community, and to provide a safe place for students to socialize. However, without ticket sales, the dance cannot occur. As of today, there have been only 5 tickets sold. If we do not sell 100 tickets by the end of the day tomorrow, February 7, the dance will be cancelled. Let’s show our spirit and get those tickets purchased!
