All students are invited to attend the annual Activity Fair, Friday, August 31, 2018, 1:30pm – 2:30pm in the South Courtyard. We will be operating on a Pep Rally Schedule to allow time for students to explore, learn about, and sign up for the clubs and activities GW has to offer.
The Patriot Players are beginning their year with a powerful drama about love and acceptance. “The Children’s Hour” auditions begin this Thursday, August 30, at 4:00pm, with callbacks on Friday. If you are interested in being a part of SPACE JAM!, GW’s new club for learning about space, come see Ms. LeRoux in Room 130 during lunch on Tuesday, August 28. You don’t need to know anything about space to join – just have an avid interest in learning.
Seniors, if you are interested in learning about the FAFSA (Free Application For Federal Student Aid) and other ways to pay for college, please come to the Future Center on Thursday, September 6 from 6:00pm – 7:00pm for a Financial Aid Presentation. All students who are interesting in taking or retaking the SAT should be signing up for the October 6 test now! Students – do you need a free bus pass? The team behind the Patriot Coffee Cart will pay for your pass! Only the first fifteen students who qualify will get the passes. Get an application from Ms. Vigil before Friday, August 31, to find out if you meet the requirements.
