To support the #metoo movement, GW would like to honor all of the women who have been influential in our lives. We are asking students, faculty, and staff to send in one photo of a woman who has played a huge role in your life. Submit photos HERE, email your photo to Alyssa Richason (firstname.lastname@example.org), or bring a photo to Ms. Richason’s office that she can scan in herself. If submitting your photo through the link online, you will need to use your GW Google account. GW Student Leadership will be using the photos to create a special tribute to the women of GW that will be unveiled on National Women’s Day. Please submit your photos before Friday, February 23 to allow time for Student Leadership to complete the tribute.
AP registration is now open for GW students. Students enrolled in AP classes this year will be registering for exams during class. Students taking AP exams via independent study may also register using the website HERE. The registration fee is $94, or $20 for students receiving free/reduced lunch.
The Red Apple Recycling fundraiser for Patriot Baseball has begun! From January 15 until February 15, George Washington’s Baseball team will earn money for all donations placed in the Red Apple Recycling schoolhouse donation boxes at George. Donation boxes are located in the North and South parking lots.
All donations must be placed in bags; grocery bags or kitchen-sized trash bags are ideal, as they will fit into the box windows. Acceptable donations include clothing, shoes, linens, belts, backpacks, and soft toys. Please do not donate electronics, luggage, or other hard objects.
The more we collect, the more we earn, so please take a few minutes to clean house and support the Baseball team! Email Debbie Bishop at email@example.com with questions, or to arrange for a member of the Baseball team to pick up your donations.
