  • Support George by Shopping at King Soopers

    Support GWHS while you shop at King Soopers using our reloadable King Soopers gift cards! When you pay using a GW gift card, 5% of proceeds from your purchases will be donated back to our school. This includes all grocery purchases, as well as fuel at both King Soopers and Loaf and Jug locations. There is no fee to get one started – just email Leslie at lesaltseng@comcast.net, and she will put one in the mail to you. It’s a quick and easy way to support our school! Keep GW gift cards in mind for grandparents and friends, and for gas money for students who drive.

    Snacks, childcare, and interpretation services will be provided.

    Parents, guardians, and students are invited to the December 5 Feedback Forum focusing on Arts at GW. Leaders in the Visual Arts, Theatre, Music, Dance, and Choir programs will share opportunities and enhancements in these areas. Forum participants will be able to give feedback on the positive experiences you’ve had as well as offer suggestion on areas for improvement.

    Seniors, there will be a presentation on the Greenhouse Scholarship on Thursday, November 15 at 8:30am in the Future Center. To be eligible, you need a 3.5 unweighted GPA, and your family income should be $70,000 or less. For more information, please visit the Future Center.

  • Denver Club of Humanities Thanksgiving Food Drive

    The Denver Club of Humanities will be hosting their annual Thanksgiving Food Drive this Sunday, November 11. They are accepting hygiene products and non-perishable food donations in the GW North lot from 10:00am – 2:00pm. All of the food and hygiene products will be given to the food pantry at GW. We would also appreciate anyone willing to help drop off donation bags on November 7 and 8 after school. If you have any questions, please contact Clark Oh-Willeke at clark.ohw@gmail.com.
