George Washington High School, in partnership with Curious Theater, is presenting Black. by Lamaria Aminah to our entire student body.
After one more young black man dies at the hands of police, a community is shaken. A conversation evolves between two mothers at the vigil – one white and one black. Through their interaction, Black. gets to the heart of the matter on communication between races.
The entire Student Body will be viewing the play November 10, 2017 before their first period class. GW will be operating on a modified schedule this day to allow time for viewing and discussing of the play. If you do not want your student to view the play, please complete the opt-out form HERE. Students will also receive this form in their 1st period classes. Please have them bring this form back before November 8.
