DU Men’s Basketball Team Shares Keys to Success
On Monday, October 23, players from the University of Denver Men’s Basketball team spent their morning sharing their Keys to Success with GW Freshman Advisory classes. George Washington is the first high school to partner with DU on the Stay In to Win program. University coaches and players work with students “to motivate and encourage students, particularly those at risk of dropping out, to stay in school to graduation. By delivering the message that success in education is fundamental to success in life, students will be enlightened as to the impact of decisions they make in school.”
GW alum and DU Men’s Basketball head coach Rodney Billups joined his team to inspire students to create their Success Plans and develop their Success Teams. Students will work throughout the year on their Keys to Success. Thanks to the DU Men’s Basketball team for spending the morning with the Patriots!
