GW Native American Students Learn About Tribal Colleges & Universities

On Monday, April 25th DPS Native American Student Support Program, Title VII hosted an Informational Session pertaining to higher education opportunities at Tribal Colleges and Universities. The session was attended by 15 Native American High School Students and featured presentations by George Washington’s Future Center College Advisor Daylisha Hall and the Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA) Admissions Counselor Loyola Rankin (Navajo). IAIA is located in Santa Fe, NM and is one of thirty-four accredited Tribal Colleges and Universities and is considered a premier art and design institute in Indian Country.
