GW Spring Planting Day Success

On April 11, over 70 volunteers – students, parents, alumni and alumni parents, and community members – came out to participate in GW’s Go Green Spring Planting Day. They planted six trees in the orchard, cared for the existing trees, weeded the south courtyard boxes, cleaned up the Gateway and put down lots of mulch. Most dramatically, the east bed in front of the Monaco doorway got a complete makeover!

Thank you to the following groups and individuals who make this day possible: Susan Nordstrom, Lisa Emerson, Sarah Nick, Roger Chow, Jane Spence, Chris Eichenberger, Rey Salazar, Jennifer Janes, Ross Breyfogle, Allen Chappell, Sara Brunner, Neil Toribara, Matt Tillson, Ann Cuthbertson, Martha Tucker, Susan Nordstrom, Barb DeSarro, Sarah Pezoa, Linda Strand, Jana Roush, Denver Public Schools, The Orchard Club, National Honor Society, Invisible Children, GW Grounds Committee, and all of the volunteers who made helped to make GW green.
