GW Students Advance at FBLA Regional Conference

On Tuesday, February 6, 32 George Washington High School students attended the Future Business Leaders of America District X regional conference. At the conference, students from different schools across the state participated in competitive events and attended workshops. The events involved public speaking, accounting, spreadsheet applications, economics, and many other business skills. In addition, the workshops taught the students about managing credit, and various options students have as they educate themselves about business.

In each competitive event, the top four individuals or teams advanced to a three-day state competition in Vail at the end of April. This year, GW had the most students qualify for the state tournament in the past four years, with 14 of our individuals and teams qualifying, many for multiple events. Please take the time to congratulate the state qualifiers listed below:
