This November 29 session is the third in GW’s Teen Mental and Emotional Health Series for students, parents, guardians, and community members.
This session will cover mental wellness vs. mental illness, barriers to teens getting treatment for anxiety and depression, and facts, myths, statistics, and warning signs regarding mental illnesses. Presenters include: Shenelle Roebuck, the GW school-based therapist from Jewish Family Service, and Sarah Hartman, LCSW and Britt Rosenquist, MSW from GW’s Social and Emotional Support Team.
