  • Boys Track Informational Meeting

    Interested in joining the Boys Track team this spring? There will be an informational meeting on Thursday, January 25 at 4:00pm in Room 309. If you cannot stay for the meeting, please stop by Room 309 after school and let Coach Madendorp know you are interested. You can also visit Room 309 with any questions you have about the team.

  • SAT Optional Essay Registration Information

    All GW juniors will be taking the SAT on Tuesday, April 10. If you would like to register for the optional Essay portion of the exam for no additional cost, you must do so by 10:00pm MST on Wednesday, February 14.

    For more information about the optional Essay, including what to expect and schools that require it, please visit the College Board website HERE. For step by step Essay registration instructions, click HERE. If you need help registering, or if you have any other questions, please visit Room 203 during lunch, or email cirila_curley@dpsk12.org.

  • Senior Cap and Gown Orders

    Seniors, graduation is right around the corner! Jostens will visit George to help you place your Cap & Gown and Graduation Announcement order on Tuesday, January 23, and Wednesday, January 24. If the first letter of your last name is A-L, you will place your order on Tuesday. M-Z will order on Wednesday. Don’t miss out, or you may have to graduate with the Class of 2019!

  • Denver Club of Humanities Showcase Fundraiser

    Love live music? Want to end world hunger? Come on out to the Denver Club of Humanities ‘A Helping Hand for Humanity’ showcase fundraiser on January 28 at Tony P’s on 17th Avenue! The show starts at 6:00pm with a $1 entrance fee per person. Performers will include ReWritten, Seger Marion, Jon Michael Sullivan, and Alkemi. This event is open to all ages, and cash and canned good donations are highly encouraged. We hope to see you there!
