  • Junior CMAS Science Testing on Wednesday, April 3

    On Wednesday, April 3, all juniors are taking the CMAS Science, then completing their SAT preadministration session. Room assignments have been posted in the North Lobby and outside the Library. Juniors, please report to your testing room at 7:30am on Wednesday. Remember, no cell phones are allowed during testing. Juniors will complete their testing and preadministration session around noon, and will have time to eat lunch then. Juniors will return to their period 7 classes. All bells will be turned off on Wednesday to accommodate testing.

  • Try Out for GW Varsity Cheer

    Do you have school spirit? Do you want to support the GW student body? Don’t miss your chance to shine on the sidelines and join the 2019-2020 George Washington Varsity Cheerleaders. Parent meeting is scheduled for Monday, April 29 at 6:00pm in the Community Room. Come hear all about the program and pick up your tryout packet.

    The team will hold tryout clinics from Monday, May 6 until Thursday, May 9th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in the GW Dance Room. Tryouts will start at 6:00pm on Friday, May 10 in the Dance Room. The team will be announced on May 11. Can’t wait to see you there!

  • Donate Prizes for GW 2019 After Prom

    Let’s make this the best After Prom ever! We have some fun activities planned, and we are collecting prizes to keep the kids engaged and at the party all night. Sign-up to donate a prize at the link HERE. Donated prizes can be dropped off between now and April 15 with Ms. Richason in Room 105A; you can also email Tori (vmeyers914@yahoo.com) or Heidi (heidicrum@gmail.com) directly to arrange for pick up.

  • GW Community Garden Plots Available

    It’s not too early to think about gardening! In fact, the peas should be going in the ground this week, and spinach seeds next week. If you are interested in a plot in the GW Community Garden, do not delay! For a small fee and with a little work, you can have fresh, homegrown veggies all summer.
