Homecoming Spirit Week starts next Monday, September 24! GW, remember to show your spirit and participate in this year’s theme days:
Monday: PJ Day
Tuesday: Jersey Day
Wednesday: Decades Day
Thursday: College and Career Day
Friday: Crazy Green and White Friday
If you are experiencing food scarcity or have grocery needs, the GW Food Pantry is open to students and staff for grocery shopping on Fridays from 2:30pm until 3:00pm. No registration is required. Just show up!
If you prefer to have your groceries delivered, the Food Pantry can also deliver a grocery basket to your home once a month. Forms for the delivery program are available outside of Room 109, or you can talk with Ms. Hartman in the Success Center. We will also be doing Thanksgiving Baskets and Winter Break delivery this year. Be sure to sign up for those if your family needs assistance.
If you have further needs around school fees or transportation, please stop by Ms. Hartman’s office in Room 112G.
We know you looked beautiful for your quince, and we want pictures! IBLA is collecting quinceañera photos for this year’s Hispanic Heritage Celebration. Please bring photos to Mrs. Rodriguez in the Main Office, or email them to her at email@example.com. ¡Viva la Raza!
Balarat started on September 13. However, since we had a huge turnout, Balarat will have another session for second semester. If you missed the first semester and are still interested in attending, please stop in and see your academic advisor to get signed up.
