Juniors will take the PSAT/NMSQT, which will fulfill one of the entry requirements into the National Merit Scholarship Program, and provide access to other scholarships and college search services.

George will have a shortened “testing day” schedule on October 10. Students must be assembled outside their assigned testing rooms at 7:30am. Students will be dismissed at 11:35am, with grab-and-go bag lunches provided in the cafeteria. If you have a student who receives extended time on the College Board exams, you and your student will be provided with a later dismissal time.

In order to be prepared for testing, all students should bring:

    • A valid GWHS student (or government-issued) identification.
    • A graphing or scientific calculator, if available. We will supply a calculator if your student does not have one.

You can support your student by:

    • Ensuring their prompt arrival.
