2019-2020 class schedules will be distributed during 6th period next Monday, May 20. Schedule changes will be considered only if a student is missing a graduation requirement, if they want to level up to a more rigorous course, or if they need to move into a grade-level course. Members of each rising class can meet with their counselors to discuss schedule changes at the following times:
- Rising Seniors – Tuesday, May 21, 12:00pm to 3:00pm in the Community Room.
- Rising Juniors – Wednesday, May 22, 12:00pm to 3:00pm in the Community Room.
- Rising Sophomores – Thursday, May 23, 11:00am to 2:00pm in the Community Room.
There will be no schedule changes after May 31, except for students needing to meet graduation requirements.
Students, staff, and everyone else at George, come join the conversation at the First Nations Voice panel on Friday, May 17. The Native American Student Support Program is hosting this panel of local Metro-Denver Native Americans in the GW Library for 5th (11:55am – 12:45pm), 6th (12:50pm – 1:40pm), and 7th (1:45pm – 2:35pm) periods. The group is here to speak on important topics such as history from a Native perspective, myths and facts about Native people, and modern day challenges in Native American communities, along with many other topics. We look forward to meeting you at the event!
The last day to purchase and pick up tickets for prom is Thursday, May 9. Students attending prom must have a ticket to enter. Purchase receipts will not be accepted at the door. Please be sure to purchase your tickets online and pick up tickets by 2:30pm Thursday, May 9.

Pre-ordered yearbooks are in! If you purchased a yearbook, you can pick it up Monday, May 13 from Ms. Richason’s Office in Room 105A during lunch and after school.
If you are still looking to purchase a yearbook, we have a limited supply left.
