Graduation Ceremony Participation Requirements
The following must be completed and verified on your checkout sheet to participate in the graduation ceremony:
- Completed ICAP/Naviance Requirements
- Fees paid in full due to Treasurer
- 92% attendance rate (see below)
- Signatures from all teachers confirming passing grade
- Signature from Counselor confirming the requirements above
In order to participate in the graduation ceremony, seniors must have a 92% attendance rate as of May 14. If your current attendance is below 92%, you should have already been contacted by a GWHS administrator to ensure you have a plan in place that permits participation in the graduation ceremony.
For seniors below the required 92% attendance rate, Saturday School began April 6. Saturday School occurred from 8:00am – 12:00pm each Saturday until May 11. For each Saturday School attended, seniors received an attendance rate increase of 0.5%. Combined with improved second semester attendance and Saturday School attendance credits, seniors should have been able to reach the minimum requirement of 92% attendance.
