Care and Concern

Care and Concern

One of the most unique aspects about working in education is the immediate and welcoming community that surrounds you. For students and staff alike, the connections we build during our time here are an important aspect of the history we are building for ourselves.

This also means that when a member of our community experiences the loss of a loved one or tragedy in the family, we feel it as well. We are acutely aware that life is unpredictable at best ” but that doesn’t make it any easier to comprehend when we encounter incredible hardships.

For any of our students or staff who are grieving the loss of someone special, please know that our thoughts are with you. When you are ready, we are here with support systems and guidance to help you find your way back to school.

Sincerely,

José Martinez | Principal
George Washington High School
