A New GW Tradition: Senior Family Night
Over 50 students and parents came together on Tuesday, December 5 to share family traditions and college access strategies over a good meal. Senior Family Night at GW is a new tradition where parents and students learn how to interpret financial aid award letters, navigate the ins and outs of campus life, and parent a college student.
As families receive college acceptance letters over the next few months, please reach out to Ms. Rainey in the Future Center (Room 113) and GW’s College & Career Advisors in the Success Center (Room 112) for assistance. In addition, the advising team is holding a College Application Day on Thursday, January 25 from 9:00am – 3:00pm in the Community Room. This day will have representatives present from major two- and four-year colleges to assist with final college applications. More information on this event is coming soon.
To all students and family members in attendance at Senior Family Night: Thank you for creating a meaningful new tradition at George!
