Southwest Airlines hosted BusinessConnect students from George Washington High School on Friday, April 8, 2016 at Denver International Airport. The CareerX Job Exploration Event exposed students to the various operational elements that go into making Southwest Airlines successful at DIA. The Station Manager, HR Partners, Ramp Managers and Chief Pilots were wonderful hosts and role models for the students. They focused much of the event on reinforcing the importance of Soft Skills such as positive attitude, team work, communication, giving your best, on-time attendance and allowing your passion to show through your work-ethic.
BusinessConnect students were given up close and hands-on access to the ramp and aircraft while developing a better understanding of all the aviation careers that exist.
