National Coming Out Day is Friday, October 11. One of the LGBTQ community’s most basic tools is the power of coming out, but it can also be one of the most challenging. And while one out of every two Americans has someone close to them who is gay or lesbian, for transgender people, that number is only one in ten. If you would like to show your support for the LGBTQ+ community, please see a member of the GSA or Mr. Bolz in room 307 to get a safety pin to wear on Friday October 11. Pins will be ready starting Wednesday, October 9th.
