National Signing Day at George

Yesterday was National Signing Day for college sports and GW is proud to congratulate three GW Patriots on their future plans.

Adrian King

Adrian King is a 3 year varsity starter for George Washington Football. He has received honors for All-District as well as 2nd team All State. While at George, Adrian has played football, basketball and track and has been a leader on and off the field. Adrian is an outstanding student and person who represents what it means to be a GW Patriot. He has committed to play football at the University of Wyoming and is receiving a full 4 year scholarship.

Sophie Nick

Sophie NIck

Sophie Nick is a 4 year starter on the Girls Varsity Basketball team for George Washington HS. She has earned All District honors. She has been leader on the basketball court all four years and has been a leader in the school and classroom. Sophie is the true meaning of the word student-athlete and will be attending Vassar College next year where she will continue her education and basketball career. Sophie is an outstanding student and person who’s commitment and dedication is unsurpassed.

Dekarri Davis

Dekarri Davis

Dekarri Davis has been a 2 year starter for the George Washington HS football team. Dekarri received All District honors for football and was also a member of GW’s basketball and track teams. Dekarri has been a leader amongst his peers and continues to grow everyday. Dekarri is a wonderful young man with a bright future and we look forward to hearing great things from him in the future. Dekarri is signing his letter of intent to Pima Junior college to pursue his football career and sports medicine.

Adrian, Sophie, and Dekarri are great representations of George Washington HS and will carry that on at their respective colleges and Universities. The George Washington family would like to congratulate these student-athletes for their achievements and wish them luck as they move on in their athletic and educational careers.
