
Two students who medaled at the regional rounds of National History Day will move on to the State competition. Senior Skye McCrimmon won gold for her project “Tragedy in Tulsa: The Headline that Triggered a Massacre,” and junior Evelyn Milias won silver for her project “We Are the World: The Power of Celebrity Messaging.” Both students submitted individual research papers, and will be competing on May 1 to represent Colorado at National History Day in Washington, DC in June.
