THE UNBOOK CLUB
Do you LOVE books about the power of positive thinking? If the answer is “no,” then you should come to the first meeting of the Unbook Club on Wednesday, March 6 in the Library at 3:30pm, because we will be reading an extremely negative book! “The Antidote: Happiness for People Who Can’t Stand Positive Thinking” by Oliver Burkeman unpacks the harms of the self-help industry and why toxic positivity movements have largely failed. The Unbook Club is a nontraditional book club where we explore the world of non-fiction on a wide range of topics including psychology, culture, technology, and more. The name of the club refers to the unique feature of the book club that you do NOT need to read the book prior or after attending; we will summarize the main points of the book that we will be discussing during our meeting via excerpts from the book, video clips of interviews with the author, or through dialogue. We typically meet on the first Wednesday of the month during Student Enrichment; refreshments will be served.

WISH WEEK 2024
We will be hosting Wish Week Friday, March 8 through Friday, March 15! Help out and join us to set up decorations and events themed for kids in the Make-A-Wish program designed to support and raise money for kids like our very own GWHS 2024 Wish Kid, Ke’Zon. Scan the QR code in this FLYER to help! Questions? Contact Mr. Q.
