Weekly Roundup November 15

Posted November 15, 2022

SAFETY – STUDENT ID BADGES REQUIRED FOR ENTRY
To better ensure the safety of our community, starting Monday, November 28 all students will be required to show their student ID badge to the security camera when they press the buzzer for building entry. Students, if you need a new ID badge, please come to the Main Office before school or during lunch only. The replacement fee for a lost ID badge is $5 (there is no replacement fee if you never received your student ID badge).

ASSESSMENT – FALL SEMESTER FINAL EXAMS SCHEDULE
Final exams will be administered Monday, December 12 through Wednesday, December 14. Course competency days will be Thursday, December 15 and Friday, December 16. Please see the final exam schedule HERE.

ASSESSMENT – PSAT/NMSQT AND PSAT 9 SCORE RELEASE DATES
Sophomores and juniors who took the PSAT/NMSQT on October 12 should expect their scores to be released on Monday, December 5. Freshmen who took the PSAT 9 on October 13 should expect their scores to be released the week starting Monday, December 5. All students will receive an email directly from College Board once their scores are available in their student account. Scores are released only through student College Board accounts. If you don’t have a College Board account, click HERE and create one today to receive your scores!

As a reminder, all freshmen will take PSAT 9, all sophomores will take PSAT 10, and all juniors will take the SAT in April 2023. These assessments are mandated by the State of Colorado, and schools are required to ensure their entire population is tested. Please make plans now to ensure your student is on time and prepared for out testing days. Schools are rated based on the number of students who participate in testing, and GWHS needs your help to retain its “green” performance rating!
