Q2 FINAL EXAM SCHEDULE
Q2 Final Exams will be held on December 16 and 17. December 18 is a teacher workday and there is no school for students. Dates and times are listed below and can also be found on our school calendar.

JUNIORS/SENIORS: SAT & PSAT/NMSQT SCORE TIMELINES
Seniors who took the SAT School Day on October 27 should expect to receive emails on November 19 to access their multiple choice scores through their College Board accounts (essay scores will be available approximately a week later).
Juniors who took the PSAT/NMSQT on October 29 should expect to receive emails on December 7 to access their scores through their College Board accounts.
Juniors and seniors, be sure your College Board account has a current email address you access often. If you have account-related questions, contact College Board at 866-315-6068.
DPS MEAL DISTRIBUTION

NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
GWHS’ chapter of The National Honor Society is now accepting applications for new members! The National Honor Society is a nationwide club that celebrates Character, Scholarship, Leadership and Service. The GWHS NHS is an awesome group of student leaders committed to making a positive difference for students in our school and for the people of our community. We’d love to include you! Qualified candidates have/demonstrate: minimum 3.0 unweighted GPA; commitment to uphold the core values of the National Honor Society; desire to be a force for positive change in our school and community; and willingness to be of service to others. There is a $15 one-time fee (waiver available). Dues pay for cords for graduating seniors, supplies for events and service projects, and our annual club contribution to the GWHS Scholarship Fund. TRAVEL OPPORTUNITY TO WASHINGTON DC
GW is thrilled to announce a travel opportunity for current freshmen, sophomores, and juniors to visit our nation’s capitol in the Spring of 2022. Students will not only be able to take in the sights and sounds of Washington DC, but they will also have the unique opportunity to meet our congressional representatives and learn more about the policy-making and legislative process. GWHS FOOD PANTRY THANKSGIVING BASKETS
The GWHS Food Pantry is offering Thanksgiving Baskets – they will be distributed to interested families on Friday, November 20th for both pick-up or delivery.
The food baskets will include a Turkey, pie, mashed potatoes, corn, green beans, yams, canned cranberries & rolls. If you are interested in receiving a basket, please fill out THIS FORM.
