FAMILY/TEACHER CONFERENCES
GWHS will be hosting family/teacher conferences on Tuesday, October 11 and Thursday, October 13 from 4:00 to 7:30pm. Please select a time on one of these two days that best fits your family’s schedule, and come meet with your student’s teachers. Each teacher will be available for 5-10 minute meetings in their classroom. Building maps and student class schedules will be available, as well as Student Ambassadors to assist you throughout each evening.

This is a casual event, designed to allow parents/guardians quick updates on their student’s progress, and teachers the opportunity to establish positive relationships with families.

PATRIOTS FOOTBALL FUNDRAISER
Our Patriots football team is having an amazing season, with a 4-1 record thus far! Currently, the football team has the largest roster it has seen in many years, and they are running short on basic equipment needs for all these amazing athletes. Please help us fundraise for items like protective/ safety gear and other essential team equipment! You can donate through MySchoolBucks by clicking HERE.

SHOP WITH A PATRIOT FUNDRAISER
This year, GWHS is hosting our first annual “Shop With A Patriot Day”! We are partnering with feeder elementary schools to help families in need during the holidays. Elementary students will be paired with a GWHS student, and will join them for a shopping trip on December 10 at Target in Glendale, where Patriots will help their little student select gifts for themselves and their families. Everyone will then return to GWHS to join with their families for a winter celebration with games, food, photos, gift wrapping and more. Each family will also take home a basket complete for a holiday meal.

We need your help to raise money to make this venture possible! We will provide a link to our MySchoolBucks fundraising site soon. If you prefer to donate goods for this event, please see our Amazon Wish List.

GWHS CAMPAIGN: “WHY GEORGE?”
Mr. Netherton and Ms. Locks are working on a campaign to promote interest in and fundraising for GWHS, and they would appreciate your collaboration! Please complete this two-question SURVEY to give your input on “why” GWHS was the right choice for you and your family.
