Q1 GRADING TIMELINE
Quarter 1 ends on Thursday, October 15. Click HERE to see a detailed timeline for the remainder of Q1. Please note: In the quarter scheduling model, one quarter is equivalent to one semester’s worth of work. When Quarter 1 grades are transcripted, they will be labeled as “Semester 1” and when Quarter 2 grades are transcripted they will be labeled as “Semester 2.”
Q1 FINALS SCHEDULE
Finals for Q1 classes will be held Wednesday, October 14, and Thursday, October 15. There is no school on Friday, October 16. See our School Calendar HERE for specific times for each final.
Q2 START DATE
Quarter 2 will start on Wednesday, October 21. Because this is a short week, Wednesday will not be asynchronous and instead we will follow our M/T/Th/F bell schedule.
FALL AP STUDENTS: REGISTER AND PAY FOR EXAMS BY OCTOBER 28
Fall semester AP students must pay for and order their AP exams by November 11 (a $10 late fee starts October 28). Click HERE to pay exam fees, then follow the instructions in the payment confirmation page to order exams through CollegeBoard. This final step also enrolls students in their AP Classroom, which provides rich resources for pre-exam study.

AFTER SCHOOL TUTORING
City Year is here to help and support you. We are providing tutoring in 9th grade English 1 Honors, Integrated Math 1, and Algebra 1. Monday-Thursday we will be meeting virtually from 3:00pm-4:00pm for students that need help in these courses. We will also have space for students that want to hang out and do fun activities! CLUB REGISTRATION NOW OPEN
Club registration is now open! All clubs, new and existing, must register in order to be recognized and supported by the school. If you wish to participate in the virtual club fair in Q2, your club must be registered by October 19. SENIORS! COLLEGE REP VISITS
College rep visits are back (virtually)! This is a good opportunity for you to meet with representatives from colleges to learn more about their schools and ask questions about anything from the cafeteria food to how to apply! We already have a ton of colleges signed up, and more are being added every day! Some of these schools include CU Boulder, the University of Chicago, Colorado College, Emily Griffith Technical College, Colorado State University, Washington University in St. Louis, and many more!

GWHS FOOD PANTRY UPDATES
