Do you want your clothing to make a statement? Then come to BSA on October 10th and help us create Equality clothing. We will have student guest artist to help you create your clothing statement or you can create your own. Bring a white item to decorate, shirt, pants, shoes, hat, socks, whatever you will rock. The GW Culture Fest planning committee is having its first meeting of the year this Thursday, October 11 during lunch in the Library. If you’re interested in helping as we plan the second annual GW Culture Fest, stop by and bring your ideas and perspective. All are welcome!
According to Misha Berson of the Seattle Times, The Children’s Hour is “a moral melodrama that can still pack a wallop. It remains historically and thematically provocative – as a reflection of fear-based bigotry and the ugly ramifications of deceit.”
George Washington’s Patriot Players will be presenting this timely classic in a free after-school performance on Tuesday October 9 at 4:00pm. Regular performances will be held from Thursday, October 11 through Saturday, October 13 starting at 6:30pm, with a special matinee showing on Saturday, October 13 at 1:00pm. Tickets will be available at the door, $6 for GW students and $8 for members of the public.
Picture Retakes will be held on Friday, October 12 in the Community Room, 7:00am – 2:30pm. Students who were absent the first day will receive a pass to take their picture and get their ID. Students who would like to purchase pictures can pick up an order form from the Main Office.
