All senior pictures, quotes, and biography descriptions submitted to the yearbook program are free for all 2018 graduates, and submissions are open now. You can submit HERE. Yearbook needs everything by November 17, so make sure to turn your photos and bios in soon!
Students and parents, please come and help spruce up the GW grounds during service days this fall. Tasks include weeding, planting trees, pruning, and cleaning up the GW community garden. Dates include October 14 and 21 and November 4 and 11. Please meet us near the community garden on the south side of the school. Plan to work from 10:00am – 12:00pm. For any students who need service hours, this is a great opportunity!
Seniors, join the GW Future Center for a FAFSA Workshop on Thursday, October 12. Come any time between 4:30pm and 7:30pm. FAFSA is the main way that students qualify for financial aid to pay for college, and we can help you make sure you fill it out correctly, so make sure you attend! Stop by the Future Center for a list of items you’ll need to bring with you for the workshop.
The Future Center will be hosting a financial aid presentation on Thursday, October 5, from 6:00pm – 7:00pm in the GW Library. We’ll cover the various types of financial aid available to you and list the information you’ll need to have with you when you fill out the FAFSA. This presentation is perfect for students and their families who want to learn more about the various ways of paying for college. Seniors are strongly encouraged to attend!
All GW seniors have a GW staff member assigned to be their senior mentor. Your mentor is here to help you through the trials and tribulations of your senior year, and to have fun! If you have yet to be informed who your mentor is, please see Mr. Bolz in Room 307 or 312.
