ASSESSMENT – SPRING 2023 FINAL EXAMS SCHEDULE
Final exams will run Wednesday, May 24 through Friday, May 26. Course competency (by teacher invitation only) will run Tuesday, May 30 through Wednesday, May 31. Please find our Spring 2023 Final Exams Schedule HERE.

SAFETY – BUILDING ENTRANCE POINTS
In the interest of safety, and in light of recent events, we want to remind all staff, students, and visitors that, during the school day, students should only enter and exit the building through designated entry points determined by the administration. There is technology in place designed to ensure that only individuals authorized to be in the building are able to enter. This technology includes electronically controlled doors, security cameras, and audio and video intercom systems at these locations. The placement of these entry points also allows staff to monitor them.
Please click HERE for a complete list of which doors are available for student entry (note: Door 1 is the Main Entrance [to Pike’s Peak Lobby and the Main Office], Doors 3 and 8 are the entrances off the South Courtyard, and Door 25 is the North Lobby entrance).

AP STUDENTS – GET YOUR TECH READY
AP students, be sure you have what you need to test this spring! AP English Language, AP English Literature, AP Computer Science Principles and AP United States History will be administered digitally this May, and you will need a DPS-issued Chromebook to test. If you don’t have a DPS-issued Chromebook, please visit Mr. Embleton in room 323 as soon as possible. Questions? Contact Mr. Embleton.
AP students, be sure to click on “apps” at the bottom of your Chromebook toolbar (you’ll need to log out of your Google profile and all other apps to see the “apps” kiosk), then click on “Bluebook.” Sign in to your College Board account, and start practicing now with the digital app you’ll use when testing!

SENIORS – TIME TO RETURN YOUR TECH
Seniors (and students who will not be at a DPS school next year), be sure to get your DPS-issued tech ready for return during Senior Checkout on Tuesday, May 16:
  • Chromebooks should be clean. Remove all stickers and use a disinfecting wipe to clean off sticker glue from the outside cover and inside keyboard frame.
  • If you have multiple Chromebooks, chargers and/or hotspots checked out, bring them ALL to Senior Checkout.
  • There is a $20 fee for any unreturned charger or hotspot, and a $100 fee for any unreturned Chromebook. Fees will need to be paid prior to graduation.
  • Questions? Contact Mr. Embleton.

2022-2023 yearbooks are here! Yearbook pickup and direct sales will begin Monday, May 8.
